All workshops occur in the Eastern Time Zone, as we’re coming to you live from Ann Arbor, MI!

Before the Workshop


What you can expect from us 

Plenty of Information

When you register for a virtual workshop, we’ll enroll you in a custom workflow to deliver all the information you need to know, when you need to know it! That includes emails arriving:

  • Right away to officially welcome you and confirm “You’re in!” for the upcoming workshop.*
  • 1-Week Before including information about Zoom, the workshop link, PLUS a downloadable handout for the workshop.
  • 2-Hours Before to get that important Zoom login info at the top of your inbox, as well as another chance to download the workbook.

*If you haven’t received the first welcome email, we may have been relegated to your Spam or Promotions folder! Please rescue us and consider adding our email to your contact list.  Another way emails go astray is if you’ve previously unsubscribed from our list. Simply go to the bottom of this page and enter your email to re-subscribe.

Training Materials

Every ZingTrain workshop comes standard with a handout for your use in the workshop, to print out and take notes or download to follow along. We also provide a resource full of tips and tools for using Zoom.

What we expect from you

  • Schedule time on your calendar to attend our workshop after you register.
  • Download Zoom (https://zoom.us/download) and keep ‘er updated.
  • Download the handout and print before the workshop, if you so desire.

What you can expect from us

  • 2 engaging trainers with plenty of content expertise
  • A chance to ask questions and share your own experiences
  • Breakout rooms exercises to work with, and learn from, your fellow workshop participants

What we expect from you

  • Your participation! Our workshops are designed to be interactive and participative
  • Plan to be muted in the main sessions, only unmuting when asked to participate or ask a question
  • We LOVE when you have your video on, though we understand that’s not possible for everyone. In the breakout rooms for small group work, please plan to turn your video on

After the workshop


What you can expect from us

A follow-up email within a day or so after a workshop, chock full of materials including:

  • A copy of the slides from the workshop
  • Any materials created in the session
  • A whole slew of additional resources including ZingTrain blog posts, articles, and webinars related to the topic at hand.

We’re also available after workshops to answer your questions, share your successes, and strategize what happens next. Seriously, just email us!

What we expect from you

  • Your feedback, please! We’ll share an evaluation link asking about your experience, as well as your thoughts on future content offerings.
  • Stay in touch! We absolutely love hearing from clients as you begin to implement what you’ve learned. It’s why we do this work in the first place.
