Women With Vision: 30 Years of ZingTrain

Webinar

Maggie Bayless & Katie Frank

Join us for a special conversation with ZingTrain Founder, Maggie Bayless, and Managing Partner, Katie Frank, two women who have carried ZingTrain for 30 years with their vision and leadership.

The very idea of ZingTrain came to Maggie when reading Zingerman’s first organizational vision! She wisely foresaw that a growing organization would need training for consistency as it grew. For the first several years, Maggie grew ZingTrain based on challenges that Zingerman’s was facing at the time. She designed internal systems and tools that quickly became of interest to the external world, too!

In 2000, Stas’ Kazmierski became Maggie’s Co-Managing Partner, bringing a wealth of consulting experience and new training tools. His creativity and expertise deepened our impact on clients and helped the whole of Zingerman’s grow and evolve through the power of visioning.

Mid-life ZingTrain welcomed Katie Frank in 2011 and Stas’ retirement in 2013. Maggie then visioned to bring on an additional managing partner so she could step back and work part-time starting in July 2020. She and Katie worked closely together and became Co-Managing Partners in 2018, setting the stage for Katie’s transition to solo Managing Partner.

Katie has had anything but a smooth ride into business ownership. Despite a global pandemic, the foundational systems and tools we teach and use allowed Maggie to enjoy stepping back right on schedule, and have kept the ZingTrain team innovative and unified. Hear how Katie is building on ZingTrain’s legacy and what we’ve got in store for the next several years!

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • Perspectives from Maggie Bayless on our origins and early development
  • How our training program grew based on organizational challenges Zingerman’s was facing at the time
  • The lasting impact of Stas’ Kazmierski on our client relationships and all of Zingerman’s
  • Perspectives from Katie Frank on our current state and where we are headed next!
