Using Systems to Get Better Results

Webinar

Katy Alexander

Systems often get a bad rap as being tedious and bland. But what if we told you that they’re actually one of the best tools we have for success?

Simply put, systems drive more consistent business results. Better systems mean that we’re making fewer mistakes and creating more opportunities to succeed. When designed well, they create and communicate clear expectations of how to handle a task or event. Customers love the consistency, and staff love knowing how to succeed—it’s a win-win!

Sometimes, we need to follow an exact procedure, like submitting payroll or polishing a floor, but other systems allow for more personalization, like greeting customers or leading a food tasting.

Still, not everyone loves systems. Some folks thrive on structure and get frustrated when others aren’t enthusiastic or ignore a system entirely. Others see systems as restrictive; they slow things down or ignore the reality of the work.

ZingTrain Trainer, Timo Anderson, will speak to both ends of the spectrum (and everyone in the middle) about designing efficient systems that people actually want to use!

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How embracing systems leads to more organizational success
  • Key elements of successful systems that make it easier for people to do the right thing
  • Ways to design systems that go beyond long, arduous checklists
