A Practical Guide to Onboarding New Employees

Webinar

Elnian Gilbert

This webinar is Part 2 of a two-part series on the basics of our Bottom-Line Training® method.

Part 1: Set New Employees Up For Success with an Effective Training Program

A new hire walks into your organization for their first day. Do you feel confident you’re able to give them a great onboarding experience? Do you have a training plan in place that lays out clear job expectations in their first weeks and months? Does your staff have the tools they need for onboarding new employees with consistency and success? Does your staff have the time to train a new employee?

These are the questions and challenges that every organization faces when onboarding new employees. We’ve developed a method of creating training plans to address all these common problems! For every job, we answer our 4 Training Plan Questions to document what is expected of a new employee in this position.

We believe in training that empowers new hires and does not hamper current operations. Our 4 Training Plan Questions put the needs of the trainee and the organization front and center. They take the guesswork out of how to structure training and ensure more skilled co-workers and more consistent results! A documented training plan helps everyone – new hires, managers, trainers, and all current staff – understand their role and expectations in onboarding. It makes clear what tools and resources the organization needs available to help new hires succeed. In this way, successfully onboarding new employees begins before they show up for Day 1.

In this webinar, we share our 4 Training Plan Questions and how to use them to design training plans and onboard new employees. After this webinar, you will never look at a new hire’s experience the same!
